This is Shane Quintana Tormes, Miss Global 2022 from the Philippines. I am a visionary who believes that I can do whatever I want for as long as I put being my heart and dedication to it. With that I have had a lot of various work experiences such as being a professional Host, Model, Singer, and Actress. Upholding such professions have allowed me to explore the world and meet various people along the way. I am the eldest of 4 children of a caring restaurateur father and a loving educator mother. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management. My upbringing taught me a lot and I would never have surpassed all the challenges of my growing years without the solid support of my family. And being blessed and grateful, I too aspire to inspire others and become a medium to reach and help other people in the many charitable institutions I’ve worked with throughout my career. I believe that real
happiness can be found in helping others, and it is my happiness to see another happy soul in front of me. Then a golden opportunity arrived - I was given the chance to represent the Philippines at Miss Global 2022 pageant. I did not think twice but jump into a plunge, only to find out it will be a history in the making. This is what I had been praying for to finally be called “Philippines". Finally after 11 years of being in the pageant industry I was given a fortuity to compete on International stage. And as your Miss Global 2022, I am even more driven by a desire to show the world the amazing beauty of my country and of the Filipino nation. “My strong girl.” This is how my Mom now my Angel would describe me. To whom I dedicated my title. I am glad that my Mom empowered and encouraged me to pursue the desires of my heart since I was a little girl and now a woman. And with that power I was able to use on this platform to share with the rest of Global community. It is a great honor to be the very first Filipina to be crowned as Miss Global and I will be forever grateful for this gift as the keeper of the Pink Lotus Crown. I am serving my kindness, warmth, and strength as you’re Miss Global 2022. I hope that through sharing a little bit about my life, it will inspire you all to continue to aspire and inspire. Live life with the purest of intentions. Set goals that liberates your energy and feeds your hopes. Help when you can. And lastly to always be fearless in the pursuit that sets your soul on fire.
